Outbox Ltd. is a Virtual Assistant (VA) company situated in Greenhithe, a village on the North Shore of Auckland, New Zealand. It was created by Director, Lindsey Carroll in 2006.

The company was established with the desire to offer small businesses, individuals and groups professional administration services both virtually, through the use of a computer, and locally to those on Auckland's North Shore. Please see our solutions page for details of our services.

Lindsey has over twenty five years experience in administration and the use of software. She has worked for companies both in the UK and New Zealand as well as running a bridalware business of her own. Her use of personal computers started in 1989 with desk top publishing . Lindsey's career prior to this and subsequently, has covered many areas including PC Staff Trainer for John Lewis Plc, Buyer, Office Manager, Systems Analyst and secretarial positions. She holds qualifications in Business Studies, Computer Software, Fashion and Real Estate. Lindsey has continued to upgrade her skills to cover a range of software that she hopes will be of benefit to you today.

Her expertise has been used extensively in the voluntary sector holding posts as Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer and Membership Secretary within the National Association of Ladies Circle and local groups.

What is a Virtual Assistant?

Virtual Assistants (VA) provide off-site expert administrative support services to clients. They have a vast knowledge of the business environment gained from many years experience in the workplace and their clients can be located locally, nationally or internationally.

They are an ideal solution to individuals and businesses who have a lack of time and those who do not wish to employ staff of their own.

What do they do?

A Virtual Assistant performs a range of tasks generally covering the traditional skills performed by an administrator, secretary, office or marketing manager.  However, they own and run their own business and work at another site from yours.

Each Virtual Assistant offers a slightly different set of skills.  We can deal with your E-mails, maintain your database, design templates and leaflets, organise appointments, or even order flowers for a friend’s birthday! For a full list of services please see our solutions page.

How do you benefit?

There are many advantages for hiring Outbox as your Virtual Assistant.  Here are a few:

How often do I have to hire my VA?

You can hire a Virtual Assistant as often or as infrequently as you like. It can be for sending just one E-mail or you may require office support on a regular basis and prefer to have a monthly contract where you stipulate your required hours.
